Welcome to the Think Tank! This site is here for the benefit of the tickling community as a whole. We've taken our old "Tickle Chamber" and "Tickle Scene" web sites and combined their resources into one site. Then, we decided to add even more! We hope this will provide something of a central clearinghouse of information on material and events available to the community.

We have other projects in mind for this site in addition to those listed here. But, we're going to try to finish up those we've already begun first. If you have ideas for other things you'd like to see us include, feel free to drop us a note to let us know about them. If it's something we think the community will benefit from, we'll add it to our project list. Please keep in mind that we will not be including pics and clips as a regular feature of this site. (This is not something that will change.) We invite you to visit our links and clips directories for information about where you can find these goodies elsewhere.

Since life is always busy and getting in the way of site work, your patience as we get things done and added in is much appreciated. There's a lot of very time-consuming work necessary to provide all this information. I'll be doing things as much as life allows.

LATEST NEWS:

*** I've begun re-working things a bit in the links directory. It will soon include more information about the sites listed so that you may better know which sites most suit you. This new information will include the types of material offered by the sites and what format it's found in. We hope this will prove helpful to those with more specific tastes. Please check our poll HERE to let us know what you think of the new links section formatting. We'll be going with whatever the majority feels is easier to find the information you want. I'll make a final decision on format by the end of this month.

*** The "Be Heard", "Discussion" and "Cell Group" sections of this site have been in limbo for some time and have now been eliminated due to lack of use. Much of what was intended there is available to an extent in the various community forums. So, it's proven somewhat redundant to keep them here.

*** As you'll probably notice, some sections have had little real work done on them...yet. This is because, at the moment, I'm pretty much on my own with things. Others have offered to help in the past only to have life interrupt their good intentions. So, we could use a few people with some time on their hands. For anyone willing to give me a hand, please check out our notice.

SO WHAT ARE THESE SECTIONS ALL ABOUT?

COMMUNITY DIRECTORY - New to the online community or just want to know what else is out there that you haven't explored yet? Here, you'll find a listing of all currently open/active TK sites we could find throughout the web. Sites come and go on a regular basis. So, we may have missed a few. But, we'll try to keep it as complete and up-to-date as possible. There's also a new page here for old sites that are no longer running but have been archived elsewhere. Since this section is the most accessed, it will also get preference for updates when time is short.

TICKLE TALES LIBRARY - This section consists of a directory of hundreds of stories on sites throughout the net, with most linked to those locations. There are about 1,500 so far with many more still to be added. We'll also have our own stories (and those from my own archives that are no longer available elsewhere) here on this site. LOTS to read with more constantly being added! Work on this section will resume once the links directory has been renovated.

VIDEO CLIPS DIRECTORY - This is currently just a reposting of our old directory from the "Tickle Chamber" site. So, it's not very up-to-date as far as what's in the various yahoo groups, etc. But, the info. on what's available on the various pay sites should prove helpful...at least to start out...in finding some of your favorite clips. We'll update this when we're able to do so...though it's not likely to be real soon.

GATHERING INFO. - Ever thought of attending or hosting a gathering? This section will give you information on what's happening where and how to get something going in your area. While not everyone is into gatherings, we hope those who are will benefit from this section.

PLAY SAFELY! - Some excellent articles and advice about safe play. While these stress the importance of safe play they are not intended as being the only way to play. Everyone has their own styles, knowledge and abilities. This is aimed mainly towards those who have little knowledge and hands-on experience in real life play and/or may be unfamiliar with a play partners needs. The basics can be incorporated into anyone's style of play.

FUN & GAMES - As the name suggests, this section will be for pure fun. Games and scene themes often help to ease newer folks into play activities. They're also fun for long-time players to add to their play to keep things fresh and exciting. This section will include a variety of things for all tastes. If you have games, etc. you'd like to share, feel free to write something up and pass it along and we'll happily share it with others.

CELEBRATING OUR HISTORY - Work is slowly progressing on compiling a history of the online tickling community. If you have any details that should be included in this, please write me and I'll add them in. We want EVERYONE to be included in this, not just the "old" veterans and their sites. So, if you have a site or other TK related stuff to celebrate, drop us a note.

SPECIAL FEATURES - A section where we'll regularly post new goodies. It may be a special announcement about an upcoming event, a new story by one of our community's talented authors, original artwork by one of our great artists or something completely different. We'll be changing this section regularly. So, check back often!

GUIDELINES - While we have no control over any other groups, we have a few ideas of things that may be helpful to our time in online discussion groups. Many disagreements/misunderstandings come when folks don't express themselves clearly or respond in an emotional manner rather than thinking things through. We hope to remind folks of some simple common sense things that can help us relate to one another more peacefully. We know from blowing this ourselves that it's easy to let things get out of hand. This is simply one way to help avoid that.

ABOUT US - Wondering who we are and why we're doing all this? We tossed a quick page together to introduce ourselves and answer that question. All we ask is that you don't send the guys with the butterfly nets after us!

A Quick Note to Other TK Site & Group Owners

Feel free to link to and/or copy our resource directories to your own sites. (I'd recommend linking so you don't have to keep changing things to keep them up-to-date as we add things in.) We aren't concerned about keeping anything here to ourselves. Most of it doesn't "belong" to us to begin with. We just want everyone to be able to know and more easily find what's out there. The only restriction that we place on this is that you only link to us if you are an adults-only site.
