Closed TK Sites

Over time, many sies have come and gone.  That seems to be the way of the internet...and life itself.  But, I often wonder about some of the old sites I used to visit.  What ever happened to them?  Which sites had what material?  For those who are relatively new to the online community, they haven't even had a chance to see those sites.  

Well, fortunately, there IS a way to retrieve some of them.  There's an online archive site that has old copies of some of the oldies.  The catch is that you have to remember the exaqtct URL for the site in order to search for it.  Some of the servers, like AOL and geocities, have to be searched page by page in order to find things.  But, it's still possible to do.  The amount of content actually available from these sites varies.  Some are there in their entirety, while others only have a page or two.  Most sites were saved without the graphics.  So, image intensive sites are pretty much a loss.  

What we'll be doing (as we have time) with this section is to search out some of those oldies that are no longer around.  As we find them, we'll post links here so others can check them out.  If you know of old sites that you'd like to locate copies of and know the original URL for the site, please share that info. with us and we'll try to find it for others to enjoy.  If you'd like to do the searching for us, here's the archive link.  Here's what we've found so far...
