Among the many ideas that have been presented that can help the community to grow is that of establishing cell groups. These groups will form online and may or may not carry into real life connections between members. That will be up to the individual group members. All too often, folks leave larger groups because they feel isolated when looking at the big picture of those groups and the overall community in general. Our goal is to help those folks who wish to do so to form smaller cell groups that will give them an opportunity to get to know one another better. We hope that this will then translate to those folks becoming more active in the larger settings as a result of having more confidence that they have friends present.  There is more to us than our love of tickling.  So, we encourage folks to get to know one another outside of the TK context as well.   

Groups will be formed as interest is expressed in them. (We need to have enough to support group discussion before forming a group.)  You can indicate which groups you'd be interested in, or suggest others, by voting in our poll in our discussion group.  To join groups, you must be a registered member of the forums they are on and send us the handle you signed up under with your request for access.  For security reasons, if we don't know you, we may ask you for the name of someone we know in common to avoid those joining who don't belong.  

Among the possible groups to be formed would be the following...

Couples-Only Group  - NOW OPEN!  We now have a number of committed couples (married or otherwise) in the online community for whom tickling is a love for both partners.  This group will be open to them to them to share their unique views of tickling as it relates to them within their own relationship and the overall community.  This group will have some couples-only gatherings (both here in CT and hosted by others as they wish). I'm also in the process of setting up a website accessible only to those couples in the group. 

Womens Group  - NOW OPEN!  Since the vast majority of those active in the online community are men, women are often overwhelmed by the number of responses they get from guys looking to hook up with someone.  A women's group will allow women to get to know one another...and support one another when they need it. While guys tend to be pretty open in sharing their fantasies, desires and concerns, this is not always the case with women. We'd like to give women a place to do so without a bunch of guys jumping into the mix. We'll also be able to share ideas for maintaining safe play situations when we connect with others.  A ladies only gathering is also in the works. 

TK Newbies - For those new to the online community. This group will help folks know what to expect from the community and give them an idea of where they can find specific things. (This group will likely have a constant changeover in membership simply because of its nature.)

Regional Groups - There are some areas where it seems that folks are spread out so much that there's little hope of ever connecting. We hope to help folks come together in these areas in order to work with one another on things...including the possibility of occasional gatherings/munches. Many folks are totally different in person than they are online. Getting to know them in real life situations will help you to understand them online. It could also lead to a little fun!

Tickling & Spirituality Group - There are many in the community for whom faith is a major part of their lives. Those of us for whom this is true often have unique struggles in dealing with our love of tickling (and any other kinks we may have). We also may simply want to share what we believe in or ask for prayer in a friendly environment. This group would enable us to do so without fear that those who don't believe as we do will jump all over us. This will likely start as an ecumenical group but may split off into more specific ones as time goes on. No matter our affiliations, we have more that unites us than divides us.

Heavy Hitters - Since the BDSM scene players within the community have a unique vision of things, we'll be offering a group for them as well. We hope they will be able to share some of their vast knowledge with everyone else.  This group will also be open to those for whom more intense scenes are desired.  (We have enough folks interested in this group but are awaiting someone stepping forward to facilitate it.)   

Other Groups - Groups will be formed as enough folks show an interest. So, if there's a group you'd like to see formed, let us know and we'll help you get things rolling. Please note that this does NOT include groups set up only to share clips, etc. There are tons of links to groups like that in our directory. You're free to join nearly all of them if that's what you're after. The purpose of these groups is to form relationships and strengthen community.
